Creation and development

Each jewellery creation from the Maison represents a new challenge for the workshops and manufactures. Artisans and engineers work together, combining traditional savoir-faire with digital innovations to bring exceptional creations to life.

Manufactures and workshops

The Cartier jewellery manufactures have eight sites in France, Switzerland and Italy. In total, these production facilities cover an area of 50,000 m² and relies on a network of experts in almost 180 professions.

In Turin, the Maison's jewellery production centre is housed in a 10,500 m² factory built in the 1970s. The site can accommodate up to 450 employees, including 200 artisans, and carries out tasks as diverse as 3D prototyping, gold casting and hand finishing.

Cartier's High Jewellery workshops are located in Paris, the birthplace of the Maison. Exceptional expertise and savoir-faire are brought together here, including glyptics or the art of cutting precious stones, now a signature of the Maison.
