The Maison des Métiers d’art

A PLACE OF TRADITION LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Established in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 2014, in a renovated farmhouse, this highly modern facility combines the finest watchmaking precision with the expertise of its artisans.

The Maison des Métiers d'Art's mission is to ensure continuity between past tradition and the future, uniting watchmaking and jewellery. In addition, it ensures that this dynamic is underpinned by a threefold commitment to preservation, innovation and transmission.

A MELTING POT OF RARE TRADES

In this singular setting, three major art professions are represented: the art of fire, the art of metal and the art of composition.

THE ART OF METAL: GRANULATION AND FILIGREE

The art of metalwork belongs to Cartier's founding craft: jewellery. Sculpture, gold filigree, gold bead granulation and engraving can be found in the Maison's repertoire of expertise.
